By now, you there is no doubt have at least heard of the latest internet craze - Social Networking.
It wasnt that long ago when MySpace came on the scene and gave teenagers and young adults a way to embarasse themselves long into the future by posting photos that no mother would be proud of. Now there is LinkedIn, YouTube, FaceBook and Twitter to name just a few.
Over the next few posts, I am going to talk about some of these networks and how you, as a business owner can use them to your advantage.
LinkedIn - This is a similiar plat form as MySpace, except it is for the business community. According to their homepage, "O\over 24 million professionals use LinkedIn to exchange information, ideas and opportunities".
I like this network because it doesnt have all the silly add-ons that you can get with some of the other networks (more on this under FaceBook). You can create a bio, promote your business and/or products, join groups, post what you are doing right now, and search for friends and collegues. You can get referred by clients (current & past), and referr people and services to others.
