Last post we talked about YouTube, now we look at facebook.
facebook- A platform very similar to LinkedIn and MySpace, but on steroids. According to their home page, "Facebook is a social utility that connects you with the people around you".
Here you can have a profile, post messages, join groups, post photos, link to other members, and have a bazillion different applications from sending gift images to adding flowers to someones garden patch to even "buying" someone's photo (this one freaks me out a bit) - all free of course.
Although I tend to think of this platform as more of a social network in the literal term, where LinkedIn is more "professional", I have received leads from being on facebook and I know of several people who have signed new clients through this network as well.
